Cooperstown Candlelight Ghost Tours, 7 pm
Depart from Pioneer Park. Learn about the village's rich history of ghostly sightings and haunted houses. Stories include the ghosts of the Church Street Cemetery, the haunting of Greencrest, and the legend of Ann Cary’s Curse. The cost of the tour is $10 for adults and $8 for children, but a special price of $4 per person will be offered to groups of 4 or more. Located at the tent in Doubleday Parking Lot. Visit with the sled dogs and their owners and find out what it’s like to care for and race sled dogs! Food and beverages will be available in the warming tent.

Cabin Fever Film Series: Snow Dogs, 7 pm
The Cabin Fever Film Series celebrates Winter Carnival and the Dog Days of Winter by showing the fun family film Snow Dogs in the Hall of Fame's Grandstand Theater. Starring Cuba Gooding Jr., Snow Dogs tells the story of a Miami dentist who inherits a team of sled dogs. The film is rated PG and has a running time of 99 minutes. The Cabin Fever Film Series is a cooperative effort by the Baseball Hall of Fame, Fenimore Art Museum, The Farmers' Museum, and Glimmerglass Opera to “heat things up every Friday this winter!” Admission is free and doors will open at 6:30 p.m.; please use the main entrance to the Hall of Fame. Refreshments will be available with proceeds benefiting area organizations.

Too Many Divas in Concert:

Snowshoeing Adventure, 12 pm – 3 pm
Clark Sports Center , Susquehanna Avenue . Adventure Programs at The Clark Sports Center welcomes outdoor enthusiasts of all ages for a 3-hour snowshoe walk in the woods to Clark Tower or Star Field. An adult must accompany children under age 12. Dress in warm, non-cotton layers with a waterproof shell, with sturdy boots, hat, and gloves. Sign-ups are first-come, first-serve by calling 547-2800 or stopping by the front desk. No cost; all participants must sign a Clark Sport Center waiver, and under age 18 must have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian. Weather dependent – please call if conditions are poor.

Valentine's Day Dinner Dance at Foothills:  A Valentine's Day Dinner Dance will be held at the Foothills Performing Arts Center from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  There will be a cocktail hour with music by harpist Hannah Lamont from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.  The gourmet dinner will be catered by Mary's Cookin' Again.  Live music will be provided by vocalist Wendy Nief.  Tickets are $80.00 per couple, $50.00 per individual and $160.00 for overnight accommodations for two at the Holiday Inn Oneonta/Cooperstown, which includes Sunday brunch for two on the 17th.  To make reservations or for more information contact FPAC at 431.2080 or by e-mail at:

GOHS' Loraine Tyler will present "Reflections of Oneonta Through Its Architecture" on Thursday February 21 at the GOHS
History Center. Using photos from the past, she will trace the rich and varied history of Oneonta through the development of architectural styles. Dr. Tyler will focus on residential housing in Oneonta's neighborhoods, from simple log cabins to Victorian "Painted Ladies". The program is free at open to the public.

Foothills will be hosting a dance competition for ages 16 and up. Dancers may compete and audition in any style of dance and music (non-explicit).
