Evening at the Tavern features an authentic 19th-century dining experience. A period menu of soup, vegetable, roast meat, fresh bread and dessert will be served by candlelight in the museums' historic Bump Tavern Period music and games will accompany the meal and the museum's interpretive host will offer tours.
Space is limited. Reservations are required and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is required in advance by check or credit card. The fee, which includes the complete meal, is $60, or $55 for members of the New York Historical Association. Wine and beer will be available for an additional fee.

The Cooperstown Concert Series features an electic mix of music for its 2007-2008 line-up including jazz, blues, country, Celtic and two singer-songwriters. The seven-show season, featuring monthly installments, is Cooperstown's only off-season music venue. Season tickets are available as well as individual concert tickets.

A Day on the Farm
The Farmers Museum
In this one-day work shop, Gwen Miner will demonstrate some of the basic activities and tasks that were necessary to keep a 19th century house and kitchen running. Participants will learn the basics of building and maintaining a fire, cooking over an open fire and fire management, and will prepare a meal using period recipes and natural ingredients. Participants will also take part in making a batch of soap, dipping candles and making soft cheese.
