Gamelan Galak Tika

We will feature Gamelan Galek Tika, a Balinese gamelan group composed of over 25 musicians and dancers in full traditional costume. The name Gamelan Galak Tika is Japanese for "intense togetherness", an apt description for the 2008-2009 Concert Series shows, which bring great artists together with a great community.

Sugaring Off, a seasonal event focusing on historic and contemporary maple sugar and syrup production, is offered on the first four Sundays in March. A pancake brunch featuring local maple syrup is a highlight of each day. This event is closely tied to our rural-life themes presents such activities such as tapping trees, collecting sap and making maple syrup.

2009 Central New York Dairy Day
Sponsored by the Cornell Cooperative Extension and held at the Otesaga Resort Hotel, 60 Lake St., Cooperstown. New strategies to improve reproductive performance of lactating cows, presented by Dr. Richard Pursley of Michigan State University. $25.00 per person includes a delicious buffet lunch at the Otesaga.
