Festival of Children's Authors and Illustrators. Its is a free event open to book lovers of all ages. If you ever had the dream of writing and or illustrating children's book this would be the event for you. Hear how the authors and Illustrators brought their work to life. Farmer's Museum Evening at the Tavern Old Fashioned Dinners
5p.m. To 8p.m.
Evening at the Tavern features an authentic 19th-century dining experience. A period menu of soup, vegetable, roast meat, fresh bread and dessert will be served by candlelight in the museums' historic Bump Tavern Period music and games will accompany the meal and the museum's interpretive host will offer tours.
Space is limited. Reservations are required and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is required in advance by check or credit card. The fee, which includes the complete meal, is $60, or $55 for members of the New York Historical Association. Wine and beer will be available for an additional fee.
